Razor Issue One - Script Update
I finally got around to doing a script for my creator owned series "Razor" that I liked. And it is going good. "Most writing is rewriting" could not be more true. Today I deleted seven story pages of the script. And began rewriting them. I'm very close to finishing draft one and I am very excited for it to be finished. My first finished script which I'm actually happy about. I have tried multiple times to launch into a script for this series and I have never be able to do it or complete it because of my disappointment on how it turned out each and every time.
But now, thanks to Brain Michael Bendis's "Words For Pictures" book, my mums cups of tea, hundred's of Comic Vine podcast's and my brain coming to grips with itself, I managed to sit down and get into it and enjoy what I was writing. Which is one of the best feeling's in the world. I find that weird considering that my dream job in life is to draw comics not write them. Sure I have plenty of great (I think) idea's for story's but what I have really wanted to do for such a long time (since kindergarten) is art. So for me it's weird feeling, feeling so great from getting my idea's onto the page from my mind. Of course I feel very happy, when I do a drawing I'm proud of, but it is a very different feeling than writing.
Ok. That came out as more of a rant of than a script update, but whatever. I was very satisfying and hopefully it did serve it's purpose a tiny bit. There, done.
Yours sinisterly - Nick.
