Razor Issue One - Script Update

I finally got around to doing a script for my creator owned series "Razor" that I liked. And it is going good. "Most writing is rewriting" could not be more true. Today I deleted seven story pages of the script. And began rewriting them. I'm very close to finishing draft one and I am very excited for it to be finished. My first finished script which I'm actually happy about. I have tried multiple times to launch into a script for this series and I have never be able to do it or complete it because of my disappointment on how it turned out each and every time.

But now, thanks to Brain Michael Bendis's "Words For Pictures" book, my mums cups of tea, hundred's of Comic Vine podcast's and my brain coming to grips with itself, I managed to sit down and get into it and enjoy what I was writing. Which is one of the best feeling's in the world. I find that weird considering that my dream job in life is to draw comics not write them. Sure I have plenty of great (I think) idea's for story's but what I have really wanted to do for such a long time (since kindergarten) is art. So for me it's weird feeling, feeling so great from getting my idea's onto the page from my mind. Of course I feel very happy, when I do a drawing I'm proud of, but it is a very different feeling than writing.

Ok. That came out as more of a rant of than a script update, but whatever. I was very satisfying and hopefully it did serve it's purpose a tiny bit. There, done.

Yours sinisterly - Nick.

Big Redo!

So basically, recently I went through all my old posts and deleted most of my posts from my original run because I saw that most of them were - not that good. So... yeah that why I suddenly have under 35 posts then over 100.

Mostly Harmless - Review

When the earth got blown up, Arthur things couldn't get worse. This book proves that it could indeed become worse. The not so-final in the trilogy of six, shows the that even if your blows up it's not the end of the world... the second time it does is. Journey as Arthur Dent meets his daughter, nearly chops off his thumb and does more stupid human things that only a stupid human would do. Douglas Adam's final book in his series before his death is completely confusing, depressing and funny. And though this is the end... it's not the end. I think this is a great send off for the characters even if it does leave most readers flabbergast by the shocking ending. And even since this is the final book written by Douglas Adams he always said that he wanted to end the series on a somewhat happier note and Eion Colfer does that honor with the final book which I will review later. But honestly I think even if people do not count Eion's final book as part of the series this is defiantly one of the best of the series even if it may not feel that complete or too short. The entrance of Random Frequent Flyer Dent may catch some people of guard but she has quickly become my favorite character next to the late Marvin, though I grew a small hate for Trillian (I don't know why) and weirdly so I started to warm up to her alternate universe version of her Trish McMillan, a failed newspaper reporter who meets aliens from the planet Rupert, meets a alternate universe daughter she never had and ultimately -- well... I'm not going to tell you that am I? Also it has a few nice references to the previously books.

My full review of the story is a great story, with interesting characters and great character development and a very good send off for the character's (if you don't like 'And Another Thing...') if not a bleak ending for some. But I think the biggest problem is that I felt the story was over two fast unlike the other books which were much longer and full with more stuff and plot lines. But all together it was exciting and original read, perfect for all fans new and old of the series.

My interent hates me!

Ok, so lets get this straight. the internet hates me. Before now it, has usually favored me before hand but now it has turned against me completely.  This is why....

https://workflowy.com/?ref=1fcb96cb go to that link now and get a free hamster.

This site  have just got addicted to using so I could put all my pretty little links on it and so only gives me 250 item spaces per month, which mean I have only got 50 more spaces for all my other stuff, the only way to get more space is make people make a account using your link (provided up there... sorry for lying about the hamster) or to pay them money monthly or yearly but you see my mum doesn't have to pay anything she doesn't have a limit (she has never payed them in her life, and she always thought that it was unlimited for everybody) Just my luck. Oh and next up I posted several posts at the beginning of the year and I wrote a lot of important things in them and then I came in today and found that there was only one there and it was 3 words... thanks blogger. Well any way please click that ink to create a account and I may actual give you that hamster after all.

Cheerio mate! Nick

...what was that?
